Psalm 3 – Finding your “But”

A Songs For Saints Devotion in Psalms

Enjoy this weekly Sixthirtythree SONGS FOR SAINTS devotional based on the Psalms.
Not only do Psalms express every experience of life, every emotion and situation human beings can face, they point us also to the God who made us and loves us. And so we are encouraged and strengthened in our faith.
What’s more we see glimpses of Jesus our Saviour and the hope and life he offers us through his saving death and resurrection.

Finding your “But”

When things are stacked up against us, and life seems so difficult, there comes a point at which we, as christians, need to stop the dizzying rush to confusion and fear. That starts with a “But”! Particularly a “But God”! The psalmist knows this too, and helps us find deliverance, rest and blessing in God’s presence

My prayer is that you enjoy these meditations and devotions in the Psalms and that your faith is built up in Jesus.
Bless you, Philip

Psalm 28 I pray to you Lord

It is wonderful to see how the Psalms constantly return, from whatever terrible situation may be going on, to a single focus
