Psalms express every experience of life, every emotion and situation human beings can face They point us to the God who made us and loves us. And give glimpses of Jesus and the hope and life he offers us.
King David, our psalmist, is weeping before God. Yet his great discovery is that as a lover of God he is welcomed into God’s very real presence. And so he knows that he can look to God to lead him through the hard, difficult path that he is walking. In fact he can enjoy the house of God, the family place for all God’s children. The place of God’s favour!
